In 2014, there was a push for the company to become more dynamic with how we delivered content to our clients. The current system had Client Development team members being sent printed collateral every week to different parts of the world such as Los Angeles, Houston, New York, and London. It quickly became unsustainable, costly, and timely whenever a new product was launched or had to be updated. There were also missed opportunities with clients whenever these deliverables didn’t make it in time.

The Sales App was a revolutionary way for our content to get to these remote team members because it not only was cost-effective and timely, but gave us more opportunity to showcase our product by serving up the most recent data, product photography, motion graphics, and videos. The ability to tell our story through this new medium made it possible for clients to truly connect to our brand. Digital publishing with the iPad was a big step forward for The Urban Electric Co. and a real game changer for how we showcased product.
